Krisha Dhaliwal recently had a paper she co-authored published in the Canadian Journal of Family Law, Volume 29, Number 2. It’s titled “Race is not a determinative factor: Mixed race children and Custody Cases in BC”. It was co-authored by Susan B. Boyd.

Steven Meurrens, with the assistance of Will Tao, was successful in Federal Court by overturning an exclusion order made against our client by a CBSA Port of Entry officer. The Federal Court agreed that CBSA cannot issue exclusion orders for alleged non-compliance with work permit conditions, and instead must refer the matter to the Immigration and Refugee Board. The decision was released on 17 September 2015.
