Summary
Jeevyn represents public sector and business clients in connection with workplace immigration and related issues and has written and presented seminars on a variety of immigration and employment related topics.
The focus of Jeevyn’s practice is to work closely with senior management and human resources professionals to facilitate the engagement of foreign workers in Canada on either a temporary or permanent basis . Jeevyn has written and presented seminars on a variety of immigration and employment related topics.
Jeevyn is active in the legal community and serves on Legal Professions BC Transitional Board. Having served 12 years with the Law Society of British Columbia, she is its immediate past president, as an Elected Bencher from Vancouver County. Jeevyn also serves as a member of the Federal Judicial Advisory Committee, Director of Creative BC, and Instructor at Capilano University, Legal Studies Department. As selected by her peers, Jeevyn has been included in the annual Best Lawyers publication as of 2014 and she is a Lexpert Zenith Award winner. Her community involvement extends to singing at charitable and sporting events and she has, over the years, been a frequent guest anthem singer for the Vancouver Canucks NHL hockey team and other professional sports teams.
